Interior designing is not only about space planning but it is also about planning a space keeping in mind the client's lifestyle, his choice, taste and size of the family. Our Vision - At DIA it is our ambition to support and nurture every student's creative talents in order to make them successful professional or entrepreneur in the Interior Design industry. As Interior Design has no global boundaries we provide opportunities for students to gain international experience with our global partners. 10 + 2 in any discipline from a recognized Board of Education | B.Sc in Interior Design | 3.5 Years | | Diploma in Interior Design | 2 Year | | | The students who wish to perrsue a career in interior design or related area get motivated by this highly creative and technically challenged programme. This programme helps to develop the ability to divide and design the volume and the space within interior environment and awareness of social and global issues. Students concentrate upon the studies of different functional, aesthetic and environmental factors which contribute towards the creation of a high quality interior designer. Our interior design programme consists of step by step practical demonstrations which are as follows: BASIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & CONCEPTS Supported by modules like Basics of Art, Drawing & Architecture, Elements of Materials, Interior Furnishings, Marketing skills, Building Construction Technique, Photography, Business Management, Sketching & Rendering, Interior furnishing, Research & Creative thinking etc. 1) Workshops 2) Visits to fairs & exhibitions related to interior design APPLICATION & PRACTICE Supported by modules like Good Interpersonal & Management skills, Social skills, Technical skills, Sculpture Making, Exhibition design & display, Painting Interiors Awareness of softwares like AUTOCAD, 3D MAX etc. 1) Craft Documentation 2) Class room Design Projects CONSOLIDATION Supported by modules like Elements of services, Landscape design, Corporate interiors, Contextual studies, Design decision, Estimation & Costing, Event design & management, Setting up a business etc 1) Industrial Training 2) Development of Prototypes 3) Live Projects Facilities - Design Studios for development of design
